I have a receptionist whom I am not sure why she even has a job. She never wants to work. Example, she is consistently making doctors appointments in the middle of the day thereby making it impossible for her to come back to work after her appointment. She always wants to leave 5 to 10 minute early because…”there is not much she can get done in that amount of time”..really??
This lady claims she needs money to get caught up on bills since they lost their home, car and other things, however you would never know it from her not wanting some extra hours. One day she told me “i really don’t care about the hours”. Really? they why are you working if the hours don’t matter and you are an hourly employee. Doesn’t make any sense??!!
This is why we have upper, middle and lower classes in the world. You can say all you want about people not been given a chance. Others are given a chance and they simply don’t want it. People talk about growing up in poverty and they just know that type of life therefore they live that type of life. No, No, No, you can always change your circumstance. There are people who grew up rich and have everything they want or need and then somehow they want to go live in that double-wide trailer with the gross mechanic, who just loves them to pieces. Or you can have nothing growing up and always say to yourself that you will get out of this situation and make something of yourself, help your parents see there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
It is always up to you whether or not you want or need things in life and there might be people along the way to either help or give advice but you must be willing. If you are willing then you will stay were you are and you have no one to blame but yourself for your own actions.
