Well, as some may know, I started a new job. Nothing like what I was doing. I used to work in the legal field and have worked in the legal field for over 30 years. So, to make the change was scary but exciting. I have now been working for a plumbing company for about four weeks. I had about a weeks worth of training before the other lady left, which I was very thankful for. That week of training….I thought, wow, I hope that I can remember this stuff and be able to pull it off without looking stupid. Well, she is gone and although I have had to call her three times to ask simply questions, I now find myself trying to find things to do. I can’t decide if she took a long time to do things, if she was to busy doing other things rather than her work or if they are giving me some room to adjust before they slam things on me???
I surf the web just about all day. When someone gives me something to do other than what my job responsibilities are, they explain it like I am five years old. I then go to my desk and have it completed in like five minutes. There is no follow up and they simply say thank you. So, I’m guessing I did it right???
I hope things pick up…it’s driving me crazy to sit here….there is only so much shopping and seeing what celebrities are doing that can be done in one day.
