Well, we enjoyed our Labor Day weekend at the lake. It was really nice until it wasn’t…lol
We thought it was going to be the six of us but turned out to be the 20 of us. It wasn’t so bad but then again it was. The cabin is situated in a great spot on Lake Hartwell. The boat we went on was nice and relaxing. However, when we went to sleep at night the problem was there was no ceiling. I think the thought behind it was he wanted guests to see the beams of the ceiling. It was nice to see them in the living room area where everyone was but not at night when you are sleeping. So, we would go to bed and then hear every little thing people would say or do. We would also hear the 7 dogs that would roam the house at night. One dog had to stay on the back porch because he did not get along with the others. One was a great dane…..need I say more??!
However, with all the people and all the animals we did have a great time but next time I think we will make it a day trip and come home to the comforts of our own bed with a ceiling and a fan.
