New day…new frame of mind

Well today is a new day and we should all be thankful for that if nothing else.

I was on the Keto diet and lost about 20 pounds, well it might have been 15 but 20 sounds better.  Anyway, I was really good at first and enjoyed trying to navigate my way into not eating carbs.  Then I went to Vegas.  Well, that derailed me and that was really my goal to be on Keto until then.  I have tried since then to get back into the whole Keto diet but found it really hard not to eat carbs or sugar.  That shit is in everything!

So, I know find myself into Forks over Knives eating.  If you don’t know it’s eating plant based food.  No meat, (I will have to eat fish every now-and-then) just veggies, fruits and some other things.  I made a no-rice fry dish last night that was delish! For breakfast, I had apples, dates, cinnamon and lemon juice in a food processor.  It has been filing and good tasting.  I hope to keep this up for a minute to actually see if I can sustain this or if its just another fad getting some steam.
