I changed my diet lately. I was on the Keto diet and now I’m on the no meat diet. I know what you’re thinking, what? How do you go from all meat to no meat? It really isn’t that hard. I like meat, I just can’t cook with anything that has a bone in it…it totally grosses me out!
First, I’ll start with the Keto. It was great at first. Learning what I could and could not eat. It was hard at times when I would go to fast food places. However, I learned to eat the hamburger with cheese and no bun, no fries. It was weird but doable. I was on the diet for about three months. I lost about 15 pounds. I thought…this is the greatest diet ever! I will say that I found it hard sometimes to not eat carbs. I would eat some here and there but continued on with the diet until my Vegas trip. Afterwards, I had a really hard time going back to the no carbs. I could not keep myself on the diet for more than a week. I always felt like I needed more food and I was never full. I need to be full in order not to eat.
No meat diet. I would not say I am now a vegan. I do like my cheese and milk. I would just say that I now have more fruits and veggies and little to no meat. I did have those McDonald’s chicken nuggets ( I know they are terrible but if you’re gonna be bad, be really bad). I do feel some days that I am gaining weight but then I have days were I feel as if they weight is coming off. Yes, I do weight myself but it has fluxuated 4 pounds here and then gone. Not, sure what’s going on with that??!!
However, I do still find myself hungry. I am always up for a meal. I can eat anything at any meal time. I need something to make me full. I do know I could go to a doc-in-the-box and get some diet pills..but when you go off you put it all back on and that is not something I want to do over and over and over.
They say the best way to loose weight is to just diet and exercise. Well, they never really tell you that you won’t be full.
