I just have to vent this morning about my cable bill. We pay approximately $183.00 per month for cable and internet. I hate paying this bill and have finally decided to quit the cable company…although I still have to pay for the internet service. We, in today’s world cannot live without the freaking internet.
So I did the math and pros and cons on having internet and cable versus Netflix, YouTube TV, Hulu, Amazon Prime and Sling. Yes, I did write five different services..lol
Anywho, as I said before my internet and cable is $183.00 per month. When I total all of the five different services plus internet my bill totals $141.00.
Now, the pros and cons of switching. First I will began with cutting off cable.
– I will not be in real time for my reality shows; (con)
-I don’t think I will be in real time for watching any sporting games like football; (con)
-I do like watching my crime TV at night while falling asleep; (pro)
– I will not have to pay $183.00 per month; (pro)
Next, the pros of switching to the five different services.
-I will never say, “there is nothing on TV”; (pro)
-I will pay less monthly; (pro)
-I am sure we can find sports on one of these devices; (pro..maybe con)
-They have crime TV on one if not all of the streaming services; (pro)
-I can stop any of the services at any time and again lower my bill (pro)
I think I am confusing myself…I read and re-read the pros and cons…not sure anymore.
I will be canceling cable…it’s just a matter of when.
