How do you gain control of your job when everyone around you seems to be out to help you loose control? I am not saying its true but feels like I am on a lifeboat and the fish below are feasting on my raft.
I am supposed to do something but somehow someone else has taken control. How do I nicely say, “stop doing that”? There really is no easy way to say it. You just have to pick you time and words wisely. You be the helper instead of the aggressor.
Entering a new work force is hard, no matter what your position is. You have to find your place and also stand your ground. You have to seem like you know what your doing and that you know the best way to do it. You have to let people come to you and then choose the right time to go to them. It is just a balancing act that will come due at its own pace.
Hang in there. Make yourself present and for fuck’s sake stand your ground!
