People often ask “If there was one thing you could change, what would it be?

Only one?

I think people who want to change the “one thing” would essentially want to change many other things. Once you change “one thing” you create a waterfall of other things that change because of the “one thing” change.

Don’t change a thing! What you are, who you are, are all things that make up you and your life path. To change that or to want to change that would mean to change your life.

We make changes everyday. Whether the changes are small or big, we change. Some people don’t like change.

Watch out for people who refuse to change as they are stuck and want no more than they give.

So embrace the change as it will always change.

I live in Florida. It’s not supposed to be cold in my world. What the fuck is going on?

Moved here in 2020 and have been loving it since. However, today, snow is in the forecast. What in the crazy is going on? This is Florida. This is where you go to start a new life with no one watching. This is where “woke” came to die. This is where our governor didn’t acknowledge COVID. This is Florida.

Florida does get a bad rap but then again I live here and see it first hand. So, what people say about it is basically true. Come here where it’s warm all year round. NO. IT’S NOT. It’s cold and people are still wearing shorts.

Only in Florida.

Just read an article about the health care industry smashing company financial records. What the fuck?

Yeah I get it that they need to make money for many things including, paying employees but “smashing” records?

Correct me if I am wrong but I thought health care was here for us, to help those in need of medical services. Not to make windfall money for corporate executives. Yes, only the corporate executives get the bonuses, more time off, etc., you get the point.

Sally in the mail room did not get a million dollar bonus and she probably didn’t even get a bonus, they probably gave her a gift certificate for a turkey at Honey Baked Ham, which was not enough to pay for the turkey for her family so again she came out of pocket. Cause that is what you get when they think they are being generous.

If the world would care a little bit more and think about it we might get somewhere.

The last post for 2024. Sorry it wasn’t funny but maybe more entertaining.

Some people have great stories of growing up with two parents, one parent, or other family members who have taken care of them. Some have terrible memories of family or extended family members.

We all can’t have good homes or family members.

Some family will turn on you. Some have always turned on you but you failed to recognize it. Some have been by your side when they could have let you fall. Some have watched you fall with excitement.

I have seen it and I have lived with it. I have known it and have turned a blind eye.

I choose to withdraw myself and hope that I am protecting myself but it always makes me sad.

Family to me has different meanings.

it’s not what happened… it was the circumstance in which it happened. Such powerful words to describe something. It might happen to a lot of us but it was the circumstance when it happened that makes it brought to light and shine brighter than others.

For some reason, for which I only know, feeling deep, thinking deep about serious shit. And it’s cold outside.

I have wrote and re-wrote so I guess it is time to leave. Read me soon.
